THE MIND
The mind houses our superconscious, subconscious, and conscious psyches. The mind controls much of our daily activities. It is the interactive instrument between the body and soul. In the mind, thoughts, memories, and emotions form. It is where we process learning.
THE BODY
The body holds our organs, tissues, nerves, and bones. Through the body, we are connected to the physical world. It is a result of the mind and soul, and how it is cared for daily. To keep the body healthy and balanced we can practice physical activity, healthy eating, good sleep and yoga.
THE SOUL
The soul gives the body its life force. It is the core of our being. The soul can connect us to sources much bigger than ourselves. The soul helps to guide us and experience more of who we are.
Mind, body and soul work as an energy system. The three together keep energy flowing within us. The flow of energy will change depending on our state of wellbeing. Our wellbeing comes from more than physical health. Mental and spiritual play an important role as well. The mind, body, and soul are all connected and affect each other. To be truly healthy, we must bring attention to all three.
